Continue as a researcher in fire safety engineering
The division has just opened a post doc position related on human behaviour in fires using virtual reality tools. The topic is focused on applying these new technologies to support the development of knowledge about human behaviour in the event of fire and how the technology as such can be developed and improved. Professor McNamee participated in the Lund University inauguration ceremony
The pandemic has inhibited the normal inauguration ceremony of new professors at Lund University to take place. We would like to introduce and welcome two new Phd students to the division of Fire Safety Engineering, Joakim Åström and Arthur Rohaert. Our new students have arrived
This week we have welcomed a new class of 53 fire engineering students (Bi21). This week includes different types of introduction and team building (both online and at the university (the latter of course adapted to the current corona situation)).
