On 15 June Johan Bergström will defend his PhD thesis entitled: "Escalation: Explorative studies of high-risk situations from the theoretical perspectives of complexity and joint cognitive systems". The faculty opponent will be Professor Erik Hollnagel. The defence seminar will take place at 10:15 in lecture hall V:B, the V-building, John Ericssons väg 1, Lund. After the seminar you are welcome to participate in a lunch. Following the lunch, at approximately 14:00 you are also invited to a one-hour workshop in which some of the most prominent researchers in the fields of Risk Management and Systems Safety will engage in a discussion on the theme "The Risk Management and Systems Safety Research 2020; where are we heading?".
