Visiting researcher at Waseda University, Tokyo

Dr Enrico Ronchi has started his visiting researcher stay at the SanoLab of Professor Tomonori Sano at Waseda University in Tokyo (Japan).
He will spend three weeks in Japan collaborating to the SanoLab activities concerning evacuation research, with a particular focus on modelling tools for fire safety engineering. This research stay is part of a Japanese/Swedish collaboration in the area of Evacuation in Emergency Situations funded by STINT, the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education.
Dr Ronchi will give guest lectures at Waseda University and Tokyo University of Science. He will also give the invited lecture "Representing Evacuation behaviour in Tunnel Fires" at the 8th Japan/Taiwan/Korea joint International Seminar on Tunnel Fire Safety and management arranged in Kanazawa.
