Dr Tomonori Sano, Professor at the school of Human Sciences at Waseda University (Japan) will visit the division of Fire Safety Engineering at Lund University during the spring during his sabbatical year. Tomonori is an Architect with a Phd in Engineering. He is currently the director of the Sano laboratory on Architectural planning at Waseda University. His research interests include human behaviour in fire and evacuation simulations. During his visit, Dr Sano will collaborate to the research activities of Dr Daniel Nilsson and Dr Enrico Ronchi. This includes the ongoing work of the task group within ISO/TC92/SC4/WG7 on evacuation model verification and validation.
