The Department of Fire Safety Engineering at Lund University is launching the third edition of the online course “Fire Evacuation Design”. The course content covers different behavioural theories and concepts concerning fire evacuation. The course also includes an overview of the evacuation models available on the market (from an impartial point of view) and it focuses on understanding their main modelling assumptions, strengths and limitations.
The course consists of weekly interactive lessons (i.e. one lecture every week) and it will start in November 2018 until March 2019. More information about the course can be found here and the course application can be done online here. If you have queries or comments about the course, do not hesitate to contact the course responsible Enrico Ronchi.
