During Spring 2024, Ann-Kristin Dugstad joined the division of Fire Safety Engineering to work in the domain of wildfire evacuation. Ann-Kristin is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the Technical University of Munich and her key research interest is route choice in emergency evacuation.

She will work under the supervision of Dr Enrico Ronchi on a project aimed at collecting data from a wildfire evacuation drill to be conducted in the USA, as part of the RACEFire collaboration project involving several international organizations including the National Research Council of Canada, RMIT, Imperial College London, GHD and the Fire Protection Research Foundation.
