Today, Abhishek Bhargava successfully defended his PhD thesis: "Fire Behaviour of selected polymeric materials".  Professor Serge Bourbigot, Université de Lille was the faculty opponent. The dissertation was conducted partly online, since the opponent and all but one person in the examination committee were participating remotely. Even so, there were very good discussions between Abhishek, opponent and the examination committee!
